It’s easy to say we welcome all feedback.
On the other hand, it’s a bit of a challenge when the feedback carries a lot of negative criticism.
Often criticism feels as though it defaults to our faults more than it does on our merits.
Hence we expound on the idea and say constructive criticism is better preferred.
Anyhow, everything forms the basis for our improvement.
Creativity subjects us to judgement. And if we hope to become better we learn to manage criticism and work from there. Be it positive, negative or without remedial action it is not a means to an end.
It is good, it is necessary and it keeps us going.
